Position Summary

Jones Heating and Cooling is seeking an experienced, customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units
• Perform routine maintenance and system inspections
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service issues and solutions
• Document work performed, including parts used and services completed
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or HVAC certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of HVAC service experience
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• EPA certification required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
